Mosaico is UAE-based company, the brainchild of Patricia Harvey, an expatriate who has been living in the Emirates for over 15 years and is familiar with the local tastes and the rich variety of residing cultures.
Being born in Brazil, Patricia has spent her childhood surrounded by decorative cement tiles -both in public spaces like libraries, schools, museums and in private homes, indoors and outdoors. The intricate designs and colourful patterns have always had a particular appeal to her and, after studying architecture and working in product design for over 25 years -in Europe and the UAE, she finally decided to make their dream come true -and have a business of their own.
When, by chance, she came across decorative cement tiles in the UAE, it brought back fond memories and after research, she came to learn that there was no local cement tile manufacturer: any order had to be shipped from abroad, and was very expensive. She therefore had found what she was looking for: a design product she genuinely loved, that was not already flooding the market, and which intrinsic qualities would appeal to people from all walks of life.
That was when Mosaico came to life, dedicated to craft cement tiles using time-honored and sustainable techniques, infused with a modern twist.
Founder
Administrative Officer Manager
Jeny was born and raised in the Philippines, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. After her graduation, she ventured into the banking field where unexpectedly in 2011 an opportunity arose in the UAE.
Her career in the UAE began as a Company Secretary/Purchase Assistant at a paints company in the city of Ras Al Khaimah. Following a period of experience in procurement, admin, and sales in Dubai, she decided to look for an opportunity to go back to RAK, a place that held a deep sense of home for her.
It was when she came across to the admin position at Mosaico Tiles Manufacturing LLC, a role that has consistently brought her immense satisfaction ever since.
She became part of Mosaico’s team in 2018, starting as an Administrative Officer responsible for procurement, HR, logistics and bookkeeping roles. Her immense dedication and later earning a promotion to Administrative Officer Manager.

Production Manager
Rolando “Lance” was born and raised in the Philippines and the first member to join Mosaico’s team in 2017. Lance grew up next to a cement tiles factory where his father used to work as a tile maker. Throughout his secondary school years, whenever he had the chance, he would help in the factory. Over time, his curiosity about tile-making grew, and by the age of 18 he officially commenced his journey as a tile maker. Over the years Lance acquired extensive knowledge of the craft of manufacturing cement tiles, covering both the creative and technical aspects of the product.
He currently works as the Production Manager at Mosaico Tiles, playing a pivotal role in the business.
