Mosaico is UAE-based company, the brainchild of Patricia Harvey, an expatriate who has been living in the Emirates for over 15 years and is familiar with the local tastes and the rich variety of residing cultures.
Being born in Brazil, Patricia has spent her childhood surrounded by decorative cement tiles -both in public spaces like libraries, schools, museums and in private homes, indoors and outdoors. The intricate designs and colourful patterns have always had a particular appeal to her and, after studying architecture and working in product design for over 25 years -in Europe and the UAE, she finally decided to make their dream come true -and have a business of their own.
When, by chance, she came across decorative cement tiles in the UAE, it brought back fond memories and after research, she came to learn that there was no local cement tile manufacturer: any order had to be shipped from abroad, and was very expensive. She therefore had found what she was looking for: a design product she genuinely loved, that was not already flooding the market, and which intrinsic qualities would appeal to people from all walks of life.
That was when Mosaico came to life, dedicated to craft cement tiles using time-honored and sustainable techniques, infused with a modern twist.

Sales & Marketing Representative
Aya was born and raised in Syria, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in software engineering. Alongside her academic pursuits, she developed a strong passion for public speaking and debate. Her dedication led her to win the best Arabic debate team in the JCI Syria debate competition. Building on her success, Aya began teaching public speaking classes, sharing her enthusiasm and expertise with others.
After graduating, she transitioned into the sales and social media marketing field. She also has an extensive background in volunteering, believing that it is a way to bridge gaps and bring people together, regardless of their backgrounds or circumstances. Aya’s first experience abroad came when she travelled to the UAE and got her first job interview with Mosaico.
Now, when you step into our showroom, Aya will be there to assist you. She will explain all the different ways you can use our encaustic cement tiles throughout your house, office, or F&B outlets. Whether you are a private client with a vision or a designer seeking a specific custom tile, Aya will help you achieve your goals. Designer & Social Media Specialist
Brazilian architect, Rubia grew up surrounded by her homeland's rich cultural heritage and natural beauty. Her professional journey across the United States, France, and the UAE honed her skills in high-end interior architecture and graphic design.
Since joining Mosaico Tiles in 2021, she has found the experience fulfilling and creatively stimulating. At Mosaico, she handles social media and design projects, leveraging her ability to spot trends and integrate project requirements.
Her passion for architectural history and craftsmanship drives her to infuse meaning into every project, while her proficiency with new technologies enhances graphic communication. Working at Mosaico continually inspires her, allowing her to blend tradition with innovation.

Administrative Officer Manager
Jeny was born and raised in the Philippines, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. After her graduation, she ventured into the banking field where unexpectedly in 2011 an opportunity arose in the UAE.
Her career in the UAE began as a Company Secretary/Purchase Assistant at a paints company in the city of Ras Al Khaimah. Following a period of experience in procurement, admin, and sales in Dubai, she decided to look for an opportunity to go back to RAK, a place that held a deep sense of home for her.
It was when she came across to the admin position at Mosaico Tiles Manufacturing LLC, a role that has consistently brought her immense satisfaction ever since.
She became part of Mosaico’s team in 2018, starting as an Administrative Officer responsible for procurement, HR, logistics and bookkeeping roles. Her immense dedication and later earning a promotion to Administrative Officer Manager.

Production Manager
Rolando “Lance” was born and raised in the Philippines and the first member to join Mosaico’s team in 2017. Lance grew up next to a cement tiles factory where his father used to work as a tile maker. Throughout his secondary school years, whenever he had the chance, he would help in the factory. Over time, his curiosity about tile-making grew, and by the age of 18 he officially commenced his journey as a tile maker. Over the years Lance acquired extensive knowledge of the craft of manufacturing cement tiles, covering both the creative and technical aspects of the product.
He currently works as the Production Manager at Mosaico Tiles, playing a pivotal role in the business.
