  • Price validity is 30 days from the date of quotation, and the price quoted is for the specified quantity, tile design and colours only
  • Currency of quotation and payment is in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED), unless otherwise agreed and specified.
  • Prices quoted are net ex-works our factory in Umm Al Quwain and do not include UAE import duties, VAT, transportation, insurance, or installation, unless otherwise required and specified.
  • Payment Terms for orders less than AED 30,000 will require 100% payment at the time of order, and for larger orders is 70% down-payment upon purchase order confirmation and remaining 30% payment due prior to release or dispatch from factory. Manufacture of the order will commence only upon receipt of initial payment, along with a signed/ stamped copy of the final approved quotation.
  • Mosaico tiles are custom made-to-order, therefore all sales are final, and no returns or refunds are possible.
  • Order cancellation or altered will only be accepted if received within 24 hours of receiving purchase order confirmation along with signed/stamped quotation. Order delivery date to be agreed with the client upon order confirmation.  Minimum order quantity is 50 pieces of the same tile model (pattern and color distribution). An overage of 10-15% is recommended due to any tile cutting requirements during installation, and to store for possible future repair needs. Mosaico are pleased to assist in the calculation of required quantities, however the quantities indicated on the final order confirmation, are the sole responsibility of the client. Mosaico doesn't rectify site measurements nor produce shop drawings and visuals. 
  • Any duplicate samples provided to our customers (designers, contractors, or private clients) will be archived in our library for a duration of six months. For orders placed beyond this timeframe, new samples must be requested for approval.  
  • Limited Warranty: Mosaico covers material and manufacturing defects in our products until the tiles are installed. 
  •  Variations in color and rough edges are to be expected in handmade tiles. Different batches will show even more color diversity within the same hue. 
  • Any tiles showing a defect (not due to inherent characteristics of these tiles) upon delivery, will be replaced with new tiles. 
  • Under no circumstances can Mosaico assume financial responsibility beyond the sales price of the tiles. 
  • All cement tiles are porous and must be sealed prior to, or at the time of installation (prior to grouting is highly recommended). Mosaico is pleased to recommend products, installers, maintenance guidelines that will properly install, seal, and maintain the tiles, and bring out the vibrant colours, durability and preservation. With these recommendations, Mosaico will not assume any liability or responsibility, which remains with the client. 
  • Methods of payment accepted are by bank transfer, Cheque, or Cash. Mosaico doesn't offer cheque collection services and to issue payment links Mosaico charges an extra fee of 3.5%. 
  • If payment by Cheque, please make payable to: Mosaico Tiles Manufacturing LLC. 
  • Please Note: All Bank Charges are to be paid by the client. Please reference your Quotation Number on the cheque or bank transfer. 
  • Orders not collected or delivered 7 days past the agreed order delivery date, will incur additional storage costs (100 AED daily) and possible transportation fees if storage off-site is required. 
  • Mosaico sells ex works factory. Buyers are welcome to arrange their own transportation and delivery of their order, or Mosaico will be pleased to assist in arranging the same with a third-party transport company, therefore Mosaico does not take any responsibility for damages occurred during transportation.  
  • Should Mosaico arrange, the following delivery terms will be applicable:   
    • All tiles will be appropriately and carefully packed, for big orders, palletized and strapped prior to shipment and all tiles that leave the factory will be in perfect condition. 
    • Transport, insurance, VAT, customs duty and/ or other applicable charges are not included in the price of the tiles and will be quoted and charged separately. 
    • Mosaico does not accept any liability or responsibility for extended delivery times, especially in case of loss of products, bad weather, or strike. 
    • Delivery at destination will be curbside and destination should be on a paved road with easy access to large delivery vehicles. Discharge from the delivery vehicle will be the responsibility of the client. The delivery company will not be responsible for any further movement, unpalletising, or unboxing. Any special delivery requirements must be made known to Mosaico prior to quoting and delivery. The order is to be inspected by the client at time of delivery and either signed for as received in good condition, or to note any damage on the trucker’s delivery note. Mosaico is to be notified immediately within 24 hours of any claim, with photographs provided. 
    • Any discrepancy in quantities compared with the order and delivery note, are to be noted on the delivery document and returned to the driver and brought to Mosaico’s notice immediately. If a client’s representative is not available for inspection and signature of receipt at time of delivery, further costs may be incurred and applicable for waiting times, or redelivery at a later date. 
    • It is highly recommended that tiles are only stored indoors prior to installation, in order to avoid staining or discoloration of tiles.

 

WARRANTY TERMS

 

FOR THE CEMENT TILES
  • The client is responsible for checking if the number of delivered items corresponds with the delivery slip before signing it off. Contact MOSAICO immediately if you suspect wrong or missing items, please make a note on the delivery slip. Share with MOSAICO support images to initiate the claim procedure. Claims reported over 48h after delivery won’t be taken into consideration. Please reach us on +971 56 344 5947 or send an email to info@mosaico.ae.
  • We kindly request that you open and inspect two to three boxes of tiles (assuming there are no apparent external damages) to check for any concealed issues. If you happen to uncover any hidden damage during the delivery, please make sure to record this on the delivery receipt.
  • The warranty given is for defects. Warranty will not cover shade variations as shade and thickness variations,  rough edges and wonky pattern lines as all of them are not considered defects but inherent characteristics of handmade cement tiles. Mosaico maintains stringent quality control standards, however mistakes can happen.   • If incorrect/ insufficient quantity is ordered, Mosaico takes no responsibility for variation in colors and thickness of further batches to be manufactured.
  • Any defects in the tiles will be apparent prior to installation, and we need to be notified within 48h of receipt and prior to installation. Acceptance of the materials is implied upon installation. If the tile is defective, do not to install it, and we will replace it free of charge. Defects do not cover damaged tiles (breakage/ chipped tiles) after release from our factory.
  • At Mosaico’s factory, the tiles are boxed and handled with care. For large quantities, we strongly recommend that the tiles be offloaded at the destination with a forklift, if not possible the boxes should be offloaded one by one with maximum care in order not to chip the corner of the tiles. Handling to be kept to a minimum and monitored when removed and opening for installation. Pallets are not to be stacked at any time and material should be kept stored in a dry covered area.
  • Warranty does not cover discoloration, staining or mildew appearing more than two days after delivery. Materials should be kept stored in a dry covered area.
  • It is within the normal range for orders to contain 2%-5% of damaged tiles (breaking, chipping, scratching), this is one of the reasons 10%-15% wastage is considered when ordering tiles.
  • Alterations to delivery can be made up to 48h before the delivery date.
  • Only recommended cleaning methods and products are to be used on installed tiles which are neutral Ph and formulated specifically for untreated stone or cement tiles. Use and damage sustained by the use of highly alkaline, acidic, ammoniated, abrasive cleaners and or/ bleach, will void any warranty on Mosaico products.   • Neither party shall be liable for any default due to any act of God, war, terrorism, strike, lock-out, industrial action, fire, flood drought, storm or other event beyond the reasonable control of either party.

 

FOR THE INSTALLATION (IF YOU DID CONTRACTED INSTALLATION WITH MOSAICO)
  • Mosaico warrants its products and services to be free from defects for a period of 6 months from the date of finished installation. (LIMITED Warranty)
  • Mosaico’s sole liability and the buyers sole remedy is limited to repair or replacement of defective tiles, and/ or installation reported in writing within the 6-month warranty period. No monetary refunds will be given.
  • After installation, any repair or replacement work under warranty is to be performed solely by Mosaico or their authorized representatives. Work performed by or subcontracted by the customer without Mosaico’s written agreement/ approval, voids Mosaico’s obligation to make repairs or provide replacements.
  • Mosaico shall not be responsible for repair or replacement of tiles damaged due to omissions by customer or others, or resulting from abnormal use, wear or tear, or lack of proper care of the tiles.
  • Any claim on warranty will in no event exceed the contract price of the goods and services sold.
  • The customer shall not be entitled to off-set or deduct any amounts owed to Mosaico from sums owed or claimed to be owed to the customer by Mosaico.
  • Mosaico may license or subcontract all or any of its rights and obligations without the customer’s consent.
  • Mosaico will not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, or for any other loss, damage, or expense of any kind, including loss of revenue, profits or opportunities, arising or in connection with the contract.
  • Installation quotations, times and dates are given in good faith, and in relation to known schedules. Every effort will be made to deliver and install as per the agreed time-frames, however Mosaico takes no liability should these be exceeded.
  • Customer to sign-off the installation for the warranty period to be in effect. If this sign off isn’t done within 2 days of completion of installation, the warranty will be back-dated to the install complete date.
  • The substrate where the tiles will be installed upon needs to be properly cured and waterproofed.
  • Mosaico reserves the right to review and amend these terms and conditions at any time. (Except for jobs already completed and under warranty).Mosaico reserves the right to change prices quoted, in the event of a variation to the quotation issued and agreed.
  • Installation area/ premises to be clear of all appliances, furniture and ready for Mosaico to commence agreed work. We won’t move, disconnect, reconnect appliances or move furniture.
  • Mosaico must have access to site during the installation period.
  • Mosaico must be provided with access to utilities during the install period, such as electricity outlets, and water.
  • Should the client engage our installer's services for tiles replacement, it becomes their responsibility to handle the disposal of waste generated while removing existing flooring.
  • The client is entitled to reschedule the installation only once, with a notice period not exceeding 15 working days.
  • Cancellation of installation services will be accepted up to 24h hours after quotation approved and signed.
  • Payment terms: 50% advance payment of installation upon quotation approved, signed & stamped, 30% upon commencement of installation and the remaining 20% amount to be paid within 2 days after installation and prior sealer/wax application.
  • Any work done by 3rd parties that have not been appointed/ approved by Mosaico, will render this warranty void.
